Swiss Chard and Mushroom Delight

CSA member Jane, who contributed this recipe, suggests using it on pasta, as part of a grain bowl, or mixed with other vegetables (broccoli and sweet peppers) to make a frittata or quiche.

Swiss Chard and Mushroom Delight


  • 1 Bunch Swiss chard de-stemmed
  • Cremini mushrooms sliced
  • Butter
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic


  1. Melt butter in pan over medium heat.
  2. Add mushrooms and cook a couple minutes, until softened. If using garlic, add now.
  3. Add Swiss chard and sauté until tender.
  4. Finish with a splash of lemon juice and dash of salt and pepper.
