CSA member Jane, who contributed this recipe, suggests using it on pasta, as part of a grain bowl, or mixed with other vegetables (broccoli and sweet peppers) to make a frittata or quiche.
Swiss Chard and Mushroom Delight
Ingredients
- 1 Bunch Swiss chard de-stemmed
- Cremini mushrooms sliced
- Butter
- Lemon juice
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 1 clove garlic
Instructions

Melt butter in pan over medium heat.

Add mushrooms and cook a couple minutes, until softened. If using garlic, add now.

Add Swiss chard and sauté until tender.

Finish with a splash of lemon juice and dash of salt and pepper.
