Maple Balsamic Vinaigrette
- 2 parts olive oil
- 1 part balsamic vinegar
- Maple syrup to taste
- Mustard optional
Combine all ingredients and pour onto salad.
Lori suggests a few variations on the simple salad dressing, including:
- adding some crushed garlic and use Dijon instead of regular mustard
- swapping out the balsamic vinegar and adding white wine vinegar instead
- fresh lemon version: just lemon, olive oil, and garlic
Another member, Oscar, suggests just combining mustard, maple syrup, and plum vinegar, "adding bits of each until it tastes yummy"!
