A savoury sauce featuring sesame oil and tabasco makes this fresh cucumber salad a stand out dish!
Spicy cucumber salad
- 2 cucumbers peeled and cut into ¼ inch slices
- 1 t soya sauce
- 1 T vinegar
- 1 T sugar or other sweetener (e.g. maple syrup)
- 2 t sesame oil
- ¼ t Tabasco sauce
- ½ t salt
Combine soya sauce, vinegar, sweetener, sesame oil, Tabasco sauce and salt in a jar and shake well.
Pour over the peeled and sliced cucumbers.
Toss and chill before serving.
